CDA Part 1
The Child Development Associates part one course is the first in a 3 part series designed to help students earn this national credential. This course covers the following topics, Professionalism, Safety, Health and Learning Environments. By the end of this course, learners will have created the first section of their professional resource file and will have completed 40 hours towards the 120 hours of training required to submit for their CDA assessment.
   
CDA Part 2
The Child Development Associates part two course is the second in a 3 part series designed to help students earn this national credential. This course covers the following topics, Physical, Cognitive, Communication and Creativity. By the end of this course, learners will have created the second section of their professional resource file and will have completed 40 hours towards the 120 hours of training required to submit for their CDA assessment.

   
CDA Part 3
This is the last course in the required three part Child Development Associates series. This course is designed to help students earn the 40 hours of the required 120 hours of training necessary to obtain the national credential. The topics covered in CDA Part 3 include, Self esteem and Social Development, Guidance, Families, Program Management and Professionalism.
   
Boys will be Boys
As teachers and parents we understand that there are differences in males and females. Based on current brain research, this 2 hour course explores those differences from a biological perspective and provide you with ways to support the learning and socialization of young boys.
   
What Do I Do With Them? Creating activities for infant and toddlers
This 2 hour workshop is designed to provide an overview of quality infant and toddler activities based on their developmental needs. There are opportunities to evaluate your space and materials, reflect on challenges and set goals for a more interesting and positive place for our youngest citizens.
   
Basic 20 Hour STARS Class
The Basic 20 hour STARS class is designed to meet the State of Washington requirements for lead teachers in early learning programs. Within the first 6 months of being hired or licensed a provider must obtain the Basic 20 hour class from a STARS approved training source. The course covers 4 topic areas (Safety, Health, Child development and Guidance) designed to provide basic training to support entry level work with young children.
